About Sunrise...
We've been
involved with self-publishing for many years beginning in 1994. I
recall being asked (at a moment's notice), to sit on a discussion
board at a writers' conference with several large publishers. My
comments in a nutshell were, "When you've been rejected and
rejected and rejected and you want it published anyway... come see us."
Everyone
laughed, but later that evening, a representative of one of these
companies thanked me and agreed that there was a need for what we
were doing because she
knew almost all of the submissions were not
going to get published.
