To
Whom am I writing?
It
was recently discovered that I write articles for Sunrise Publishing (SunriseBooks.com)
and was asked what I write about. Also, if it was hard to come up
with ideas to write about.
I
answered by saying I focus on the audience I write to (writers).
They are wonderful creatures and its to them that I write and
post my articles.
I
break my entries into 3 basic areas; the writer as a person with
human characteristics. This is the real person who has goals, ups and
downs and writers block, too.
The
writer as an artist that composes and expresses his/her talent with
words (proper punctuation and word usage--and yes Ibid. should
be italicized);
The
writer who is a self-publisher who has to deal with the mechanics of
getting their book to the final stage--a published book. This is the
person who needs to puts creativity on the back burner and learn to
turn-on production mode to get through the basics of clicking here
and clicking there and making a proper PDF.
The
final thing I use for my material comes from the authors themselves.
Many questions arise from day-to-day challenges of getting their
projects to the next level.
Yes
sireee, writers are true artists, and theyre a joy to work with.
