It’s time to reinvent and rediscover ourselves.

I was visiting a friend of mine the other day. He was/is on the “edge of things” in his life. Now I really do not know the details of his financial situation, because I didn’t ask for the details (and he didn’t share them).

I had asked if there was anything else he would consider doing in his life. He responded, “I don’t want to go out and reinvent myself at age ___.”

I thought, “Why not?!”

The question we all should be asking ourselves is, “What else is there in our lives that needs to be discovered? What else lies just around the corner?”

After the evening was over I reminded him of the book he’s been writing for the past several years. It shouldn’t consume him, but it could be time to put pen to paper and finish it.

As you listen to Earl Nightingale’s “The Strangest Secret” one would think it was written for and about us today. Hard to believe it was first written in 1956. Here’s a quick link to the audio:

You can also buy it at: http://www.nightingale.com/

In the Simple Truths gift book, The Strangest Secret, Earl Nightingale shares how he discovered and lived the secret to success.  This book, DVD and CD recording of Earl Nightingale’s message can change your life.  It may be one of the most powerful books you will ever read.

I say it is time to reinvent and rediscover ourselves.
